RPF personnel come to her rescue as a woman slips while attempting to board a moving train at Vasai Road railway station

A 71-year-old woman was rescued by Railway Protection Force (RPF) officers at Vasai Road railway station after she slipped into the gap between the platform and the running train.

Policemen @grpmumbai ( in red T-shirt PC Holkar, HC Jadav etc ) saved the life of a lady passenger on 18.9.21 at Vasai Road railway station when a lady passenger fell in the gap between the train and platform while boarding a running train. We are rewarding them.

The event occurred about 5:30 p.m. on Saturday when a passenger attempted to board a moving train. The Railways Commissioner of Police in Mumbai, Quaiser Khalid, has tweeted a video of the incident to educate commuters and travelers on how dangerous traveling may be. According to Khalid, the RPF officials will be rewarded for their bravery.

The woman had gotten down to sip tea on the platform while traveling by train from Bhavnagar to Hyderabad with her husband. The train, on the other hand, soon began moving for a longer journey, and the pair began jogging towards it. At Vasai Road railway station, the woman slipped and fell into the space between the platform and the running train.
