Vasai is a beautiful spot
located about 50 km away from Mumbai City and 20 km away from Borivali.
Vasai has always attracted tourists from various parts of the country -
it is a popular tourist spot in Maharashtra. It is famous because
of a number of temples and places of pilgrimage and is surrounded by
beautiful landscapes, green trees, and clean sea beaches. This Taluka is

Vasai was known as Baçaim (Bassein) and had various other names during
the course of history. The most significant past in Vasai's history is
the rein of the Portuguese, since they largely influenced or changed to
